• Device Data: IP address, browser type, and operating system for analytics and security purposes.

2. AI & Data Usage (2025 Update)

Your data powers our AI estimation engine and helps connect you with movers. Specifically, we use it to:

• Generate accurate cost estimates and inventory volume calculations.
• Match you with verified moving companies that service your specific route.
• Verify your identity via SMS to prevent spam and fraud.
• Improve our AI algorithms and website performance.

3. Information Sharing

MoveSmart is a lead generation platform. By submitting a quote request, you explicitly consent to share your details with:

• Moving Partners: Up to four (4) licensed and insured moving companies who will contact you directly to provide firm quotes.
• Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist with SMS verification (e.g., Twilio), data storage (e.g., Google Cloud), and analytics.

Note: We do not sell your personal data to unrelated third parties for marketing purposes outside of the moving ecosystem.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) for all data in transit. Your personal information is stored in secure environments restricted to authorized personnel. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
